Nacional secure 2-1 triumph away to Vasco da Gama
Uruguayan champions Nacional got their 2012 Copa Libertadores campaign off to the perfect start with a historic 2-1 win away to Vasco da Game in Rio de Janiero.
In a match where the home side looked like the visitors and vice-versa, Nacional were unfortunate not to have won by a larger margin.
It was the first time Los Tricolores have won a game on Brazilian soil in the competition since 1971, the year they secured their first of three Libertadores crowns.
